India’s mining industry set to reach $36 billion is all set to open up commercial coal mining to private companies with the aim of shifting world’s third largest coal importer towards energy self-sufficiency is gearing up to host a mega conference – the 6th International Mining. Exploration, Mineral Processing Technology, Metals & Machinery Exhibition in February 2016 at the Eco Park, New Town, Rajarhat, Kolkata, India.
It is organised by the Mining, Geological & Metallurgical Institute of India.in collaboration with TAFCON. The conference will have over 300 exhibitors, 600 delegates, with the participation of over 30 countries. It is expected to attract 10,000 visitors from all over the world. The event is supported by Ministries of Coal, Mines, Steel, Power, Heavy Industries, External Affairs, Government of India and Coal India Ltd.
